The Department of Physics of the SN Sewa Sansthan Girls Degree College was established by considering the B.Sc. program and came into existence alongside the college itself. Being one of the best Science College Prayagraj the Department of Physics also has a separate establishment and infrastructure.

The Department operates independently with the presence of excellent faculties. Well-equipped laboratories and good results, the department has been credited with an A+ grade by NAAC. Throughout the years the department was imparting teaching and training for various fields of physics. Here, the faculties provide comprehensive education in physics, focusing both on theoretical concepts and practical applications through laboratory experiments and research projects.
