The Department of Chemistry of SN Sewa Sansthan Girls Degree College was established by considering the B.Sc. program. Science College Prayagraj has other departments that come under the science department, and have a separate establishment and infrastructure. The department independently operates with a smooth process due to the presence of excellent facilities, well-equipped laboratories, and good results; the department has been credited with an A+ grade by NAAC.
